BTS' Jungkook's "Seven" sets new Spotify record with 1 billion streams

Seoul: BTS' Jungkook, known for his remarkable musical journey, has once again left his mark in the music industry by achieving a remarkable milestone on Spotify.

His single "Seven" has set a new record with one billion streams, surpassing the previous achievement of American artist Miley Cyrus with her track "Flowers."

The talented soloist, Jungkook, has been making waves with his chart-topping hits and is gearing up for the release of his upcoming album titled "GOLDEN." His debut single as a solo artist, "Seven," has crossed the 1 billion streams mark on Spotify, making it the fastest song to reach this milestone.

It achieved this feat in just 108 days, surpassing Miley Cyrus' "Flowers," which took 112 days to reach the same milestone.

"Seven" holds special significance for Jungkook's fans as it marked his much-anticipated solo debut. The track showcases a unique and previously unseen side of the BTS member.

The official music video for "Seven" features actress Han So Hee from "My Name," and the song includes American rapper Latto. Following this success, Jungkook released "3D," featuring American rapper Jack Harlow. Both of these tracks will be part of his first solo album, "GOLDEN," set to be released on November 3.

Jungkook is the final member of BTS to launch a solo album.

The "GOLDEN" album will narrate the stories of Jungkook's golden moments in life, both as a part of the K-pop group BTS and as a solo artist. The album will consist of eleven tracks, including "3D" and "Seven" in explicit and clean versions, along with "Closer to You" featuring Major Lazer, "Standing Next to You" as the title track, "Yes or No," "Please Don't Change" featuring DJ Snake, "Hate You," "Somebody," "Too Sad to Dance," and "Shot Glass of Tears."
