Mumbai: Varun Dhawan starrer horror comedy Bhediya will be screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The actor took to Twitter to share the exciting announcement.
He appeared on the video with his pet beagle and said: "Hello, I know all of you are waiting for 'Bhediya' just like this (pointing to the dog) little buddy of mine. The wait is over as the film will have its screening at the 53rd IFFI, which will soon begin in Goa. So, let's meet in Goa on November 25 for the screening of Bhediya." The film will be screened at INOX Panjim.
He ended the premiere announcement video with a howl as an ode to his werewolf character in the film. Bhediya is the third-installment in Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy universe and tells the story of Bhaskar who gets bitten by a wolf on an annual, magical night. This leads to him turning into a werewolf on full moon nights. Producer Vijan has confirmed that the plot is linked to other movies in the horror comedy universe - Stree, Roohi, and Munjha (a prequel to Stree).
The film festival will start on November 20 and go on till November 28. It is the 53rd edition of the prestigious event. Being one of the most popular film festivals in Asia, it is known to contribute to the understanding and appreciation of the film cultures of different nations.
