Animal teaser: complex father-son relationship and violence takes centre-stage

The makers of the upcoming film Animal released its teaser, offering a glimpse into the complex dynamics within the film.

The teaser presents an intense storyline that revolves around family relationships.

The teaser begins with Ranbir Kapoor's character, who is seen sharing a moment with his love interest, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna. In a conversation between the two, she asks him about his thoughts on having children. Ranbir's character expresses his desire to become a father.

When Rashmika inquires if he will be similar to his own father, played by Anil Kapoor, it triggers a series of flashbacks revealing their strained relationship. The teaser shows Anil Kapoor's character harshly slapping his son, reflecting the troubled history between them.

Returning to the present, Ranbir argues with Rashmika, insisting that his father is the best in the world.

Anil Kapoor's character admits to his past mistakes, saying, "I am sure I made some mistakes. I didn't know how to train a son." In response, Ranbir asserts, "You trained me well," as the teaser intensifies with dramatic music and glimpses of Ranbir's transformation into what appears to be a violent gangster.

The teaser concludes with Ranbir Kapoor's character, bleeding and issuing a warning to his father.

He declares that this is just the beginning and challenges his father to "finish him." The teaser also briefly introduces Bobby Deol's character, who appears at the end of the video, holding a knife.

Initially scheduled for release on August 11, "Animal" was later rescheduled for a December release to avoid a clash with other major films.

The movie, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of "Arjun Reddy" fame, features a stellar cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in significant roles.
