Mumbai: Actress and climate activist, Bhumi Pednekar has been asked to speak during Climate Week in New York.

"Along with being a talented artist, Bhumi has been a strong advocate for environment-friendly choices and green solutions. In line with this year's theme of 'Getting It Done', young voices like Bhumi's will truly inspire others to do more at Climate Week NYC," Sharma added.
Bhumi will speak on the 23rd of September as part of Climate Week NYC. She is expected to address how India will play a vital role in the global response to the climate emergency, and how the Indian industry will play a critical role in this journey forward.
Climate Week NYC, organised by Climate Group in collaboration with the United Nations, COP26, and the City of New York, brings together people from all over the world to see what other countries are doing to address climate change.
Founded in 2004, Climate Group is a global non-profit organisation whose goal is a world with zero net carbon emissions by 2050. It has offices in London, New Delhi, and New York.
