Mumbai: '99 Songs', the music maestro AR Rahman's debut project as a film producer, is all set for a digital premiere on Netflix from May 21. The Oscar-winning composer took to Twitter to announce this news to his fans on Wednesday evening.
"Here's the announcement that will lighten your mood. #99Songs will stream on Netflix," announced Rahman in a short tweet on his verified Twitter account, @arrahman.
'99 Songs', is a musical romantic drama directed by debutant Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, who is also a musician with the Mumbai-based hardcore experimental band Scribe.
The film, which had its theatrical release on April 16 stars debutants Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in lead roles.
'99 Songs' will stream in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
