Prathidhwani, a welfare organisation of workers in Kerala's IT sector is conducting a virtual job fair exclusively for IT-related jobs. The fair is being conducted in cooperation with Kerala Development and Innovation Strategy Council, (K-DISC) which is a strategic think-tank and advisory body constituted by the Government of Kerala.
Registration to the fair to the fair was inaugurated by Joy Sebastian, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Techgentsia.
"The process of registration which has already started on 17th September is absolutely free of cost for the candidates", said the organisers in a statement.
"The registration process will end on 21st September", the statement said.
"In the last few months there is a huge surge of IT jobs in Kerala. Lot of Keralites working in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad etc are looking for opportunities back home. The job fair also targets to present the vast number of opportunities at Kerala to those working outside state",the statement added..
More than 100 companies including MNC's like UST Global, Allianz, HnR Block, Quest Global and Tata Elxsi are participating in the job fair offering 2000+ opportunities, informed the organisers.
Companies from Trivandrum Technopark, Cochin Infopark and Calicut Cyberpark will join the mega virtual job fair, the organisers further said.
According to the statement, the openings include Devops Engineer, Technical Architect, Automation Tester, DB developer, Big Data Analyst, Full Stack Developer, PHP, Mobile Developer, UI/UX, Java Developer, .NET Developer, Sales Executives, Technical Writers etc.
The profiles of the registered candidates who had applied for the listed opportunities will be matched with the job description of openings and the matching profiles will be forwarded to companies, through an automated system, said the organisers.
The selected candidates will be called for interview from 22nd September till 30th September.
