Gautam Adani has again made it to the third position on Forbes the list of the richest on the globe, trailing behind Louis Vitton's Bernard Arnault, while overtaking Amazon's Jeff Bezos.
Adani climbed the slot after a rise of $314 million on Monday pushed his wealth to $131.9 billion, making him the third richest on the Real-Time Billionaires List compiled by Forbes, according to NDTV.
Adani rode on a surging wave of Indian stocks happening for the past two weeks, outperforming Wall Street shares.
Bernard Arnault remains at the second spot with a net worth of $156.5 billion.
In what appears to be a bad hair day for Jeff Bezos, the Forbes list marked his wealth dwindling with shares plummeting.
Adani surged past Jeff Bezos which according to the report showcases swaying between gains and losses in recent weeks, suggesting "turbulence in the broader global equities markets".
Just as the wealth of both Bernard Arnault's and Jeff Bezos began swaying back and forth, Adani also climbed up and down between second, third and fourth on Forbes list.
While these fluctuations keep changing the positions notably of these three billionaires, Elon Musk remains well ahead with a net worth of 223.8 billion at the top.
Guatuam Adani is making investments further afield shelling over over $150 billion in areas including green energy, data centres, airports, and healthcare, according to the report.
Indian billionaire must be well on the path to fulfil his dream to join the global club of companies worth $ 1 trillion valuation.
