New Delhi: Indian airline company Air India is on the verge of making a massive order for 500 jetliners worth tens of billions of dollars from both Airbus and Boeing.
The Tata Group is all set for a revival of the airlines, Reuters learned on Sunday.
The planned orders include 400 narrow-body jets and 100 or more wide bodies, including Airbus A350s and Boeing 787s and 777s, sources told the news agency.
The final preparations for the order will happen in the coming days, the sources on anonymity informed.
However, Airbus, Boeing or Tata Group has not yet commented on the news.
