Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala government earned Rs 31.5 crore revenue through seven auctions of sandalwood in the last financial year, the state Assembly was informed Friday.
Stating this during question hour, Forest Minister K Raju said Kerala has sandalwood forest in 1,438.22 hectares.
These were spread in Marayoor (596.51 hectares) and Kanthalloor (841.71) forest ranges in Idukki district,he said.
