Thiruvananthapuram: With a view to expanding its network, Uber India, ride-services company, Wednesday announced the launch of Uber-hire in the city.
With Uber-hire, riders can book longer duration trips for day-long meetings, shopping and travel around cities, Nitin Nair, General Manager, Uber (Kerala) told reporters here.
"This service aims to address the unique commuting needs of riders in the city, especially that of tourists, business travellers and senior citizens by letting them book an Uber for longer duration," Nair said.
Uber-hire was first launched in Kochi and the service was now available in five cities across the country, he said. PTI JRK
