In another blow to former US President Joe Biden's prior team, Republican President Donald Trump's administration restricted security clearances for former Secretary of State Antony Blinken and former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, White House officials announced on Saturday.

The move comes a day after President Trump stripped former President Joe Biden's security clearance, denying him access to daily intelligence briefings. The White House also confirmed that Biden's Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco's security clearances had been withdrawn.

Lisa assisted in coordinating the Department of Justice's response to the January 6, 2021 attacks on the United States Capitol, during which Trump was accused of inciting the mob with his speech, Indian Express reported.

The officials also stated that the Trump administration had withdrawn the security clearances of New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who have led cases against the Republican president.

Earlier, in a post on Truth Social, Trump had said “There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings.”

Trump reportedly called former Secretary of State Antony Blinken a "bad guy" and said to take away his passes.

“This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings,” Trump said as per the New York Post.

The decision to revoke the security clearance comes as President Trump continues to crack down on his most outspoken critics.
