AI –Shifa Hospital in Gaza has now become a ‘ Death Zone’: WHO

Gaza: The officials from the World Health Organization who visited the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza said on Sunday the facility has become a ‘death zone’, news agency AFP reported.
Reports earlier described in graphic details the situation in the hospital after Israeli troops raided the facility earlier this week.
Now WHO has announced plans to evacuate the facility even as Israel plans more operations in Gaza.
As the war is raging on, Hamas reported more than 80 deaths on Saturday after Israel attacked a refugee camp in northern Gaza and a UN school sheltering displaced people.
Videos from Gaza’s biggest refugee camp, which AFP claimed to have verified, showed blood covered bodies lying in dust on the floor of a building in Jabalia.
The head of UN agency for Palestinian refugees UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini called them as ‘ horrifying images’.
Meanwhile, Egypt called the bombing a ‘war crime’, adding it is ‘ deliberate insult to the United Nations’.
Meanwhile, Hamas official claimed 32 people from the same family including 19 children were killed when Israel bombed another building in Jabalia on Saturday.
Following the reports, Israeli army reportedly made a terse a statement that it was reviewing ‘ an incident in the Jabalia region’.
Israel is continuing its horrendous attack on Gaza which many countries called out as disproportionate to Hamas attack on October 7 that killed 1,200 Israelis alongside taking 240 people as hostages.
Hamas claimed that Israeli troops’ air and ground campaign have killed 12,000 people including 5,000 children since attacked started.
In six weeks of Israeli attack on Gaza some 1.6 million people have been displaced in Gaza Strip, UN said.
Meanwhile, showing no signs of respite in attack, Israel military said it was ‘ expanding its operational activities in additional neighourhoods in the area of the Gaza Strip’.
