Sehwag praised Patel for becoming the third bowler in Test history to take all 10 wickets in an innings.

Patel tweeted that Sehwag had hit him out of the park while bowling for the team as a net bowler in the past.

"Thank you, @virendersehwag, funny story I still remember you smashing me out of the ground at the outer oval at Eden Park when I came in as a net bowler," Ajaz said.

Taking the opportunity, Sehwag replied, "The time does change). What you have achieved in Mumbai is so extraordinarily good that India ki jeet se jyada aapke charche hain. Bless you with success and good luck.".

In Mumbai, Sehwag said that cricket fans were talking more about Ajaz's achievement than the team's victory and wished the spinner all the best in the future.

Ajaz Ahmed has been lauded more for his achievements than India's victory in Mumbai, said Sehwag, and wished him the very best for the future.

To date, Ajaz has picked up 43 wickets in 11 Tests, 14 of which came during the second Test in Mumbai.
