Shooting world cup: Saurabh Chaudhary wins gold, secures Olympic quota for India

New Delhi: Saurabh Chaudhary on Sunday shattered World Record finishing top of the 10m air rifle men’s event on Day 2 of the ISSF Shooting World Cup.

The 16-year old continuing India’s gold rush won the Men’s 10m Air Pistol event with a World Record score of 245.0, alongside securing  an Olympic quota for India.

Saurabh now has gold in both junior and senior World Cup and also World Records in both junior and senior World Cups. He started out with a good start, making 51.2 in the first of the five series.

The Asian Games gold medallist’s all shots were above 10, except one below-par shot.
