Sharjah’s landmarks are once again lighting up as the Sharjah Light Festival returns for its 14th edition. Launched on February 5, the festival carries the theme "Lights Unite Us," bringing vibrant light installations to 12 locations across the emirate.

Since its inception in 2010, the festival has grown into a key cultural event, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The stunning light displays, synchronized with specially composed music and artistic visuals, transform Sharjah’s architectural landmarks into mesmerizing works of art.

Running until February 16, the festival offers light shows from 9 pm to 11 pm, Sunday to Wednesday, and from 6 pm to 12 am, Thursday to Saturday. Shows pause during Maghrib and Isha’a prayers, ensuring a respectful balance between cultural tradition and artistic celebration.

With its blend of history, technology, and creativity, the Sharjah Light Festival continues to highlight the emirate’s rich heritage while offering an immersive experience for visitors and residents alike.

Along with the light installations, the festival includes the Light Village, which remains open until February 23. This interactive hub features various pavilions, including the Museum of Lights, offering a dynamic mix of activities, entertainment and family-friendly games. The entry ticket to the village is Dh10.

This year, the Lights Village also showcases over 70 local projects, highlighting small and medium-sized national enterprises catering to a wide range of interests.
