The UAE government launched a new programme to provide scholarships for frontline workers and their children for higher studies in universities and colleges across the country.

Announced by the Frontline Heroes Office, the Higher Education Scholarship Programme is under the directive of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. It will be implemented in the 2021-2022 academic year.

The programme, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is formed for the welfare of those working on the frontlines and recognizing their roles in protecting the community.

Candidates are advised to submit their application along with required documents, including the acceptance letter from their University or College to [email protected]. The Frontline Heroes Office, which selects those eligible for the scholarship, will directly contact the relevant university or college authorities.
