The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language is set to launch its Arabic Language Month program in France on October 7, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency published on Saturday. This initiative aims to advance the Arabic language teaching, enhance teachers' performance, promote the language and highlight Saudi Arabia’s various initiatives in the field.

As part of the program, representatives from the academy will visit French universities and educational centres to "meet staff and enrich the learning experience," the report stated. These interactions are intended to foster collaboration and improve the quality of Arabic language instruction in French institutions.

This is not the first time the Arabic Language Month program has been implemented internationally. Previous editions have taken place in countries like Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and China, furthering the academy's mission to promote Arabic language learning on a global scale.

In addition to the program launch in France, the academy will host its third international conference titled "Arabic Language Computing and Enriching Linguistic Data" on October 6 and 7 in Riyadh. The conference will bring together experts to discuss "innovations in Arabic language computing and improving artificial intelligence models" and "address the need for enhanced academic practices in the Arab world."

This comprehensive initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to the global promotion of the Arabic language and its continued efforts to modernize its instruction and application through technology and academic collaboration.
