Salam Murabaa: the stage comedy that jollies up visitors of Riyadh Season 2021

Riyadh: The first theatrical event of Riyadh Season 2021 began on Tuesday, as the theatre was filled and tickets sold out shortly after they went on sale. The audience had a fun time watching the comedy play "Salam Murabaa", which show will continue for 5 consecutive days.

The show will be held daily from 9:00 pm until 12:00 midnight at Bakr Al-Shedi Theater in BLVD RUH City zone.


The play, starring Egyptian actor Mohammed Henedy, is one of the entertainment comedies of Riyadh Season this year. It tells the story of the singer "Sayed" and his struggle with society in order to gain fame to earn money and marry the girl he loves. In addition to Henedy, many actors star in the play, including Ayten Amer, Mohammed Tharwat, Mohammed Mahmoud and Mirna Nour al-Din. It is written and directed by Khaled Jalal.


Preparations for the play began 3 months before the launch of the activities of Riyadh Season 2021. Many rehearsals were held in Riyadh to ensure complete readiness and good preparation before performing in front of the audience.

The show coincided with the launch of the BLVD RUH City zone after 4 months of preparations. The zone is receiving visitors of Riyadh Season, creating a new qualitative addition in the concepts of entertainment and the establishment of a new phase in the entertainment infrastructure in the Kingdom.
