NTA announces next UGC-NET exams

The National Testing Agency announced the next UGC-NET exam dates for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor. According to the public notice released today, the exams shall be held on the following dates: 2nd-7th May, 10th-12th May, 14th and 17th May.
The test, composed of 150 questions shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. Interested candidates can apply online starting from today. The last date for online application is 2nd March. The application fees can be paid up to 3rd March.
UGC-NET exams are usually held twice a year, in June and December. However, in 2020, the exams which were to be held in June were conducted late in September '20 and October '20 due to the pandemic. The exams which ought to have been conducted in the December '20 session is now scheduled for May '21.
