COVID-19: Third session of JEE (Main) 2021 postponed
cancel

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' on Sunday informed that the JEE Main exam, scheduled to be held between April 27-30, has been postponed given the COVID-19 situation.

"Given the current COVID-19 situation, I have advised NTA to postpone the JEE (Main) – 2021 April Session. I would like to reiterate that the safety of our students and their academic career are @EduMinOfIndia's and my prime concerns right now," the Education Minister tweeted.

"The revised dates will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination," reads the public notice released by NTA today.

JEE (Main) 2021 is to be conducted in 4 sessions. Session one and two, conducted in February and March, was attended by 620,978 and 556,248 candidates, respectively.
