Kochi:  The Kerala High Court on Thursday granted the government one week to give explanation on a petition questioning lack of social distance on buses.

The court was responding to a petition by Balusseri native Afsal and MA Johar seeking to stop bus journey without observing covid protocols.

The government pointed that Centre lifted more lockdown restrictions, and requested more time for filing explanation.
