Pulsar Suni’s remand extended till July 18 in actress assault case

Kochi: A local court on Tuesday extended the remand of Pulsar Suni, key accused in the actress assault case, till July 18.

Suni was produced before Angamali Magistrate court Tuesday with his remand period coming to an end.

Earlier, Suni told the media outside the court that some big sharks were yet to fall into the police net, giving a hint that influential people involved in the conspiracy of the crime against the actress.

The court room witnessed dramatic scenes after two counsels appeared before the magistrate to represent Suni. A verbal fight broke out between Adv. B A Aloor and Adv. Tenny in order to get power of attorney for Suni. The court, however, intervened and asked Suni’s opinion who requested that Adv. Aloor be allowed to represent him in future.

While talking to the media after the hearing, Adv. Aloor said he did not move a bail petition as Suni wold not be safe outside the jail.
