57th School Arts Fest: Kozhikode wins, Palakkad follows

Kannur: The 57th Kerala State School Youth Festival ended on a grand note on Sunday with Kozhikode winning the prestigious trophy.

The district won the Kalolvasam with a score of 939 points, followed by Palakkad with 936 points and Kannur with 933 points.

Leader of the Opposition, Ramesh Chennithala, the chief guest of the closing ceremony function, handed over the trophy to the winners. The event also marked the presence of Education Minister C Raveendranath, Minister Kadannappally Ramachandran, who was the organising committee chairman, and Director of Public Instruction K VC Mohan Kumar.
