Pasukkadavu tragedy: one more body recovered

Kuttiady: The rescue team on Tuesday morning fished out the body of one more youth who had gone missing in a river at Pasukkadavu in Kozhikode.
The body of Vipindas (24) was found near Central Mukk by the National Disaster Response Force team. Search is on to trace the body of Vishnu (20).
On Monday, the bodies of three more youths were recovered by the rescue team. Late on Sunday, the body of Rajeesh Ramakrishnan, one of the six youths washed away in the flash floods, had been recovered by the local people.
The youths were part of a nine-member group who had gone for bathing in the river at Pasukkadavu near a forest zone. Three others were rescued by local people. All the youths hail from Kothodu in the district.
Local people said the flash flood occurred as a result of the torrential downpour in various places in Wayanad district. The youths were unaware of the danger though it was slightly raining in the region.
