Thiruvananthapuram: CPI-M state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Saturday said the party secretariat to be held on October 14 would discuss all the controversies related to the appointments to key posts.

“The party will look into all controversies related to the appointments,” said Kodiyeri.

On Thursday, the appointment of Sudhir Nambiar as Managing Director of Kerala State Industrial Enterprise (KSIE) was cancelled following the controversy.

Sudhir, , son of CPI-M Lok Sabha member P.K. Sreemathy, is also the nephew of state Industries Minister E.P. Jayarajan.

Asked to comment on the matter, Jayarajan had said: "No complaints have been received on the appointment. If there is any, it will be looked into. My relatives of do work on several positions."
