Action against officials who delay in clearing files: Pinarayi

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Wednesday has said action will be taken against the officials who are responsible for any delay in clearance of files.

“What we see today in the state is negative file scrutiny and that should change to positive file scrutiny,” said the chief minister, who was addressing Secretariat employees on Wednesday.

“The files should be cleared within a timeframe. The government employees should be a relief to the people,” said Pinarayi.

“Corruption at employee-level cannot be tolerated anymore,” he added.
