No petrol for helmet rule violators: Transport Commissioner

Thiruvananthapuram: Transport Commissioner Tomin J Thachankary Wednesday said the two-wheeler riders would not get petrol unless they wear helmets.

Thachankary told reporters that the new rule would come into effect from August 1.

“The officials have been given strict instructions to implement the order. It will be first implemented in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode,” he said.
