Kannur: In a shocking incident, an employee of IDBI bank in Thalassery was reportedly killed after a security personnel’s gun fired accidentally.
The deceased has been identified as Vilna Vinod, a native of Melur in Dharmadam panchayat.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m.
Preliminary finding is that the victim died of bullet injury in her head in an accidental discharge from the fire.
Hareendran, the security staff, was taken into custody by the police for questioning.
