Mumbai: A army officer from Kerala was among those who were killed in a massive fire that broke out at one of Asia's biggest ammunition depot in Maharashtra's Pulgaon.

Major K Manoj, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, was working as the chief security officer at the depot.

At least 16 defence personnel, including two Army officers, and 19 others were injured when an overnight fire raged through India’s biggest weapons stockpile in Maharashtra’s Wardha district.
