Alappuzha: The rebel group of the Janathipathiya Samrakshana Samithy (JSS) has written a letter to party president K.R Gowriyamma asking her to retire voluntarily.
The group led by party state secretary B Gopan said in their letter that Gowriyammma was not able to lead the party due to her age.
“Gowri Amma has become old. She is 97. Hence, she should make way for the new generation. She is showing nepotism,” they alleged.
The veteran JSS leader reportedly declined to the demands raised by the rebel group.
