New Delhi: KPCC president V.M Sudheeran Thursday has said Kerala Congress-M leader K.M Mani will not quit the UDF.

“I hope Mani won’t quit the UDF. Oommen Chandy has been assigned to hold talks with the Kerala Congress-M,” Sudheeran told reporters after visiting senior Congress leader A.K Antony in Delhi.

Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and KPCC President V M Sudheeran will hold talks with Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in Delhi today to discuss the issues of the party’s state unit.

Sources has said the Congress high command is likely to put forward a formula for the Kerala unit’s revamp without removing V.M Sudheeran as the KPCC president.

The issue of the Kerala Congress-M will come up for discussion at the meeting.
