Cong plotted against Mani, alleges KC-M mouthpiece

Kottayam: The Kerala Congress-M mouthpiece, Prathichaya, has come out against the Congress, equating K.M Mani’s resignation as finance minister to that of P.T Chacko.

The article, titled as 'P T Chacko Then, K M Mani Now’, says those who had wanted to eliminate P.T Chacko are trying to crucify Mani.

“When P.T Chacko was all set to be made the chief minister, he tendered his resignation. Mani too quit the same way. When there were allegations relating to a woman’s issue in the case of P T Chacko, Mani was trapped in the bar bribery allegations,” it says.

“The LDF leaders praising Mani had puzzled the Congress. The Congress would also have gone to the extent of finishing off K M Mani like P.T Chacko,” it goes on.
