Thiruvananthapuram: Vigilance director DGP Jacob Thomas Saturday has said a strong probe will be ordered into the revelation of S P Sukesan in the bar case if the court directs.
“The Vigilance is not a caged parrot now. Our duty is to conduct a probe against the corrupt and it will be done properly,” Jacob Thomas told reporters.
SP R. Sukeshan in his plea said that former Vigilance director Shankar Reddy had sabotaged the probe report on the bar bribery case.
After considering Sukeshan’s plea, the Vigilance court has ordered further investigation into the bar bribery case.
