Thrissur: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy Saturday has alleged the LDF does not have a clear policy on liquor.
“The LDF doesn’t have a clear policy on liquor. What they are arguing for a ban on liquor consumption is just an advice,” Chandy told reporters.
“The person who had quit the UDF over the liquor policy is now a candidate of the LDF at Chavara,” he said.
“The sale of alcohol products has come down to 26 percent in the state,” he added.
