Thrissur: The Munsiff Magistrate Court at Paravur Saturday sent thirteen people, including seven office-bearers of the Puttingal Devi Temple Trust, to the police custody till April 20.

The officials include temple trust president Jayalal, secretary J Krishnankutty, members Shivaprasad, Surendran Pillai, Ravindran Pillai, Surendranathan Pillai and Murugesan.

They were sent to the police custody by the court after considering the public prosecutor’s arguments.

Meanwhile, two more people were arrested today in connection with the Paravur temple incident. With this, the crime branch probing into the fire tragedy has recorded 17 arrests so far.
