Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar announced on Thursday that this would be his last election. "Today is the last day of my electioneering.

Nitish Kumar, the Bihar chief minister and JDU political leader is resigning from the politics. Nitish made an emotional speech in Purnia district's Dhamdaha constituency saying that this will be his last election. Polling for the last phase will be held the day after tomorrow.

The state wise third phase of election will be held on November 7 and the counting on 10th November. Nitish came up with this hot buff decision amidst the election propaganda.

Nitish has served as CM for 14 years and two months in three different tenures. "This is the first time that Nitish has spoken about his retirement from electoral politics," a JD(U) leader said.
