Nawab Malik asks why Wankhede left Kashiff Khan without questioning

Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik questioned the relationship between a Kashiff Khan and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, Asian News International reported.
On Tuesday, Malik has shared on Twitter the screenshots of a WhatsApp chat, between the witness in the drugs-on-cruise case Kiran Gosavi and an informer, in which Kashiff Khan's name was mentioned. Malik asked why Khan was not questioned in the drugs case.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra minister Aslam Shaikh had confirmed on Monday that he was invited to the Cordelia cruise party by Fashion TV head Kashiff Khan. While addressing a press conference, he said he does not know him personally and has no contact numbers.
He said that being a minister, he gets invitations to many events. If anyone has evidence against him, they can bring it forward, he said. Two agencies are investigating the case, and the truth will be out soon, he added.
In the meantime, the Pune police registered a fresh case of cheating against Kiran Gosavi on Friday at Bhosari police station. Already, there are three cases lodged against the man in Pune city and with a recent case lodged in Pimpri Chinchwad, he has four registered against him in Pune district.
