Ahmedabad: Another political party will also jostle for space in India's already crowded political scene.

The outfit "Praja Vijay Paksh" launched by IPS DG Vanzara on Tuesday offers itself to become an alternative to the BJP in Gujarat, according to The Indian Express.

Vanzara said that the party would contest in all 182 seats in the state.

Continuing 27 years in power in Gujarat, Vanzara alleges, that the BJP has become "inefficient and corrupt because of a single-party dominance", according to a report in The India Express.

The former IPS officer called the Moribi bridge collapse a "human-caused tragedy" being what he said an "administrative failure".

Coming down on the BJP administration he alleged until the renovation of the bridge it was fine for past 150 years.

On the fifth day of renovation, he said, the bridge collapsed because the work was undertaken by those who were not fit for it.

Claiming that his party to be " Hindutvawadi" the former officer reportedly said that Gujarat would not accept " non-Hindutvawadi options".

Explaining the core ideals the party, he said that BJP only believes in rajsatta (political power), but there should be dharmasatta along with political power.

Its absence would result in the lack of " mahima"( glory) of dharm ( religion) and sant sadhu (seers), according to the report.

Vanzara, who launched the party after having refused ticket the BJP to contest in the Assembly polls, spent eight years in jail for alleged fake encounters while he was a serving police officer.
