Amazon parcels tossed out of train carelessly, shocking social media

Packages with the Amazon logos flew up and fell on piles of parcels as they were unloaded them from a train carriage, according to NDTV.

Workers were handling the packages chaotically with no regards for the contents of the package.

Many on social media felt uneasy thinking about the fate of their orders placed on online.

The footage, shot at an undescribed rail way station, shows scores of packages piled up on the platform.

Several men were throwing more packages onto the pile of packages from the train carriages.

Some flew up hitting the overhead fan at the station before falling down with a thud.

Though the caption said they were "Amazon & Flipkart parcels", most of them bore the Amazon logo.

The footage has amassed more than 2 million views on Twitter, leaving users shocked.

One Twitter user asked why the porters were throwing parcels like they were empty boxes.

Another wondered if it was because of mishandling the parcels are not delivered in good quality.

There are instances of parcels arriving damaged, which one user on Twitter pointed out.

The Northeast Frontier Railway responded in its official Twitter handle that it is an old video from March 2022.

It added that packages are unloaded from Rajdhani Express at Guwahati Station and the persons handling parcels are representatives of the concerned party.

The tweet further said that Railways offer booking of parcel space on a contract basis to various parties.
