It's a boy for Ajith, Shalini

Chennai: Tamil cinema's popular on-and-off screen couple Ajith Kumar and Shalini were Monday blessed with a son, their second child.

"Shalini delivered a boy early this morning. Both the mother and child are doing absolutely fine," a source close to Ajith told IANS on Monday.

Ajith and Shalini first met on the sets of their 1999 Tamil film "Amarkalam" and fell in love.

They tied the knot in 2000 and already have a seven-year-old daughter Anoushka.

Currently basking in the success of his latest film "Yennai Arindhaal", Ajith spent the last few weeks by his wife.
